The USS
Mercutio is involved in various missions for Starfleet from
exploration to Special Ops. Because of the diverse assignments
to this ship the crew is made up of select and exceptional well
trained Starfleet officers.
This page lists and describes several of the positions used on
the USS Mercutio by players.
Counselor
Posting
on the Mercutio can be stressful with the duties and importance
related to this post. As such the Counselor serves to keep the crew
stable and mentally healthy. The Counselor also serves as an assistant
in diplomatic contacts thanks to the psychological studies used to
prepare he or she for this office.
Engineering
Engineering serves to keep the ship running well. They are used to
investigate the working of alien ships and stations as well as keeping
systems intact even during battles.
Medical
Medical
is responsible for the health and well being of all ship personel.
They serve many missions by offering assistance and helping to keep
sentient beings alive. They are vital in the Mercutio's missions.
Operations
Operations deals with the day to day operations of the entire ship.
They are involved compiling sensor data, determining power routing,
handling communications, transporters and keeping away teams on a
transporter lock and much much more. They serve the ship in the most
diverse position and are a key to almost everything happening.
Operations is arguably the most important position to a CO in any
environment.
Science
Science
is a vital position on the Mercutio. This position evaluates data and
information in first contact or scientific missions. They are used to
help the crew to understand what is going on and what steps must be
taken. They are the key to understanding.
Security
Security
keeps the ship safe and protected. They are vital to securing key
areas and dealing with any intruders. The offer protection during Away
Team missions and serve as the first line of defense.
Tactical
Tactical
works with Security and make sure that not only the ship is protected
but the quadrant. They man and maintain the weapons and defenses of
the ship. They protect the ship in all situations.
